I’m not one of the lucky ones who own an iPhone, bummer for me, but if I did, I would certainly buy this app for it.

It features a talking baby hippo that at first glance appears to be super cute but that, I suspect, might become just a tad annoying after a while. The baby hippo repeats everything you say with his baby voice. You can tickle him, poke him, feed him carrots, make him blow a balloon, give him a pacifier or make him play with a butterfly. You can even record your own videos of Baby Hippo and share them on YouTube, Facebook or send them to your friends and family by email.

I wish I’d had this when my son was in diapers but I did not. Instead I just had to randomly shove his stuff into any sort of bag I had handy at the moment. Imani the Baby Hippo

Imani is a female hippo born on May 11th 2007 at Antwerp Zoo (Belgium). Her Mom is Hermien and Dad is Heini. Imani means “faith” in Swahili. Check out this video of her. She has the cutest little white feet!

One of my favorite parts of this job is cruising the Internet to find cool new products. I recently found this awesome hippo statue from Light From Africa.
